01. Who are we?
The Kiwi Connection is a webdesign and educational service in Makkum, The Netherlands.

Payments for subscriptions and login information: we require your name, email address, country, state and purchase information such as your transaction number. This is required by law for online transactions.
We do not store information such as your credit card or PayPal account as this is all performed offsite by our payment providers. We do however save the transaction number from the gateway provider.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information. Login cookies last for two days. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
04. Embedded content from other websites
Courses on this site include embedded content (e.g. videos from Vimeo). Embedded content from Vimeo behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited their website.
We use the services from Google Analytics to gain information on the countries and platforms used for viewing our tutorials. Should you wish to do so you can turn this off by clicking on change cookie settings-> 3rd party cookies-> disabled-> save settings.
06. Who we share your data with.
We use Google Analytics to know in which countries our members are most prominent. We do not retain any data apart from your personal information as a member, your date of purchase, the course you purchased and the transaction number from the gateway. We also share cookies with Vimeo as they host our video service.
07. How long we retain your data.
If you have a question, the question and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).
Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Should you wish to remove all data from your membership please provide this in writing and we will delete your user account.
08. What rights you have over your data.
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
